Finally decided to quit FFXI.

First of all i wanted to thank my set PT that took me from 41-75. This was probably the most fun time playing the game for me, always had a blast when playing with you guys both doing missions, quests, EXPing and whatnot. Unfortunately some of us stopped talking when i left Melon and later joined AA. Anyway.. just wanted to thank you guys for the great times we shared. Espacially thanks to Apoc for helping me farming now and then when we still used to EXP.

Id also like to thank AA for letting me join them and kill pretty much all HNMs out there it was a great experience and i really hope you guys start getting lucky with drops from those bastards.

Thanks to BD and Cnoethos that waited for me and helping eachother out with doing most of the San doria missions in our little trio (thanks to Rianphoenix and all you others that helped out one the other missions where we needed more people). And thanks to all other people that weren't in these LSs that i meet and became friends with.

Not much of an update but we did 2 Kirins, got 2 ingots, 1 wyrmal pants, 1 osode, 1 pole and 1 shura body. The good stuff dropped on the second Kirin, and these 2 times we killed him extremly fast! 1st round we took him down in 1h 12min, dunno bout second round but should be around there. and a nice thing wa i got 5/100ish spells that werent resisted without Elemental Seal or with Wind staff.

Not much has happened the last couple of days in FFXI, most HNMs pop while im sleeping and the LS does some Gods at that time too which means im missing out alot. >_<;; I need a maint so i got all the times on my side. Thou the things i have done has been productive i guess, camped charbdybis(sp?) and got Kristin a sword AND i got invited to a Fenrir PT! We fought him on thursday and killed him easy and he only did his DispelGa move once which was lucky/good for us. As reward i picked Fenrir of course and i went to try him out which resulted in my SMN going up a lvl, 6>7.

And as i said last time i downloaded "I, My, Me! Strawberry Eggs" which was a really funny and good series and i even got emotional at the end (which NEVER happens!), was both happy and sad and would like to see an continuation or some kind of OVA after the ending of the series. After I, My, Me! i downloaded and watched "Samurai Deeper Kyo" which was pretty good wouldve liked to seen the other elemental/god attacks beside Suzaku's.

Anyway, Kirin planned for the night and i think we might do some Gods tomorrow which would be really nice. ^^;

Past week

Not much have happened the past week. We did our normal Kirin run on saturday went well as always, dropped mnk body scroll which Deis got, Kirin Pole and Kirins Osode. Since alot of people want the osode it will probably go round till we got a couple of Osodes. Did some Triggers after that. Sunday, did Escort quest with Darte, Miya and Atrox was pretty fun and it wasnt so hard becaus we all were 75. ^^;

Bought myself a computer last week and its great. :D Got 160gig for my anime and its pretty good for games, can play Doom 3 on high setting, on super high i get lagg spikes ; ; would probably stop if i got more memory. Ive also seen Ikkitousen which is like Tenjou Tenge but a shorter version and in every single fight the girls clothes gets ripped. Downloading Ai, Mai, Mi! Strawberry Eggs, sounds like it could be a really funny series from what i read at animenfo.com.

Kirin and AA BC

First run we ended up in zenmetsu because we were lacking a couple of jobs so we couldnt kill of the gods fast enough. Second run: more people had come at this point and it was really easy, just like the first time we fought Kirin. I think Kirin went down faster than last time after the gods had all been killed. Was a bit hectic at the end because we were supposed to sub in people who didnt get title last time and i think only a few got subbed in while alot of us missed it, but maybe next time. ^^;

After this we went on a spontaneous AA BC, man i love this BCNM, the music and you get to fight the 5 AAs at the same time! We only had one Pentasphere so we had to win. ^^ Luckily we did thanks to Chus great tactics and him Gravity'ing the Hume. Tho looked a bit dark when we were at the Elvaan, had only like half the alliance alive and she did Benediction while she had like 10% left. But we killed her, raised up, rested and killed the Hume, he did a really weak NIN 2H. So we won and it was a great fight, id love to do it again and probably will since there are still people in the LS that doesnt got earings. And if anyone else needs people for this BC im glad to help out. :D

Oh and my choice was: Abyssal Earing: +2 INT +5 Scythe Skill +5 Dark Magic Skill. The only better earing would probably be Phantom Earing+1(+2 INT +8MP) for a BLM.

LS got Adamantoise, Serket and Tzee Zicu the Manifest while i was on, Adamantoise dropped 3 Ores, Serket a ring and Tzee Zicu dropped random crap and a Daylight dagger that i managed to win. The dagger should be nice for skill up because of the +12 Acc and its pretty fast. Now i just have to get Staff/Club high enough for WS quests and complete them so i can focus on dagger. <.<;

Ls had a really good day yesterday. First we got Adamantoise, dropped Armor, 3 Ores and a Egg! Another party got Serket while we were holding Adamantoise for THFs to arrive, he dropped Claw and Ring. After this we went for Fafnir and i think everyone was kinda shocked when Nidhogg popped! And we won pull! I think it was BD that got it because he died shortly after we got it, so GJ BD! XD The fight took a long time because we had to sleep him and we wait for a better setup and rest up when he went crazy on us a couple of times

Lost Aspi, Behe, Faf and Serket. Aspi popped pretty fast and Gori got it >_< dropped Dalmatica Scroll, Behe popped like halfway thru window i think and Faf waited until the last chance to pop and Juve got. ; ; And we only had like 2 people at Serket so Melon go it and killed it, heard you guys got a claw, grats.~ After Faf we were heading for Tulia when Takato found Tzee Zicu the Manifest so we headed there at full speed, it got pulled by Madoc and like 2 mages but they died so we took care of it, dropped a dagger and some other free-lot crap.

Now i got a terrible headache so im going to bed.~

HNM Stuff

Joined AA, i think ive done as much in AA the past few days as i did in Melon thru all these months. Well maybe a little less but AA does alot of things everyday. We camp Fafnir/Nidhogg everyday and after that we go for triggers and if we got enough people and triggers we do a God fight. Second day im in LS we go to kill Kirin, took along time to get everyone too Kirins room mostly because some people had some really bad luck with the random teleports, anyway we pop him and just tank him till he summon his buddies that we killed so fast, probably because we had like 30 people beating the shit out of them. XD

After we killed all the four gods we started to go at Kirin, he wasnt really hard people got subbed in for dmg like Spirits and Aeroga III, and about after 2 hours of fighting he beats the dust, dropped a Pole, Ingot and THF Body Uncurse so grats to Fantome and Kittycat. Hopefully next time ill be in the main PT so i can get title. :3

And we finally won Dynamis - Windurst! I had some really bad lagg when we pulled the last boss and DC'ed soon after he was killed, luckily i got the key item.

Been feeling really shitty this last couple of weeks, headaches every night, havent slept much, been awfully bored and then the LS thing. So im taking a break for a couple of things, probably be back for Dynamis, if its Windurst again.

Dynamis Windurst.
Everything went pretty good, seemed a bit slow to me but we got time extenders all the time so time was fine. Then when we had cleared one side and was going for the second side of the map Dudeous (sp?) walked a bit to close/casted magic near a Statue and we got a massive link. Celeras was shouting on Dude about that but hey cmon this stuff happens and its not like he did it on purpose. After we recovered from this Zenmetsu we tried to Tractor people that were killed at the statues and Synbios aggroed a statue while trying to get into pos for Tractor, he dies, i die and Xeirarch dies. At this moment some people go berserk and shouts that Xeirarch are trying to kill everyone and thats stupid and so on and the thing is she didnt even aggro it at first, just aggroed her because she was a bit to close after the statues killed me and syn so she got aggroed and killed. After this we didnt have much time left so we decided to go for drops. When it was like 20min left i DC'ed and had problems getting on but i had such a terrible headache at the time so i just gave up and went to bed.

Decision made.

Well ive decided to leave Melon, its a bit sad to leave all the good friends i got in the LS but hopefully well keep in touch. Dunno what to do now tho, try and get into another more "active" HNM LS or just take a break for awhile. Im signed up for the Dynamis run tomorrow so at least ill be on tomorrow. And if Melon want the Ice Staff i got back just give me a tell and ill send it to one of the sackholders.

P.S. Set PT really need to PT so we can get some buffer, i dont like beeing 2,5k into 75 ; ;.

Starting to get real tired of Melon, i want to hunt Tulia stuff but everytime i suggest we go trigger hunt theres like only 1-2 other people interested. And its understandable that we wait till Mits is back before we kill gods but we could still do some trigger hunting, but i really want to kill some gods >_<. And i think its just gonna end up like it did when Melon was new, we hunted some stuff in the beginning then we didnt do shit for months. So im seriously thinking about quitting Melon, ill try and decide what to do for the upcoming days.

Got Rank 1, 100k and Windurst flag *yay* XD. Did 2 Fenrir runs before this, didnt go so good ; ;. First time we lost because of bakaness, someone told Tanks to run so they ran around and we couldnt heal them. Second time went good until his 2h which took out 3 people and then killed the surviving, oh and the RDM DC'ed right before 2h D;. Dunno if/when we will try again since we ended it pretty weird yesterday.

Now that i got some money again im thinking of what i should buy, 2 Snow Rings/2 Diamond Rings, Cursed Zenith Mittens, Dark Staff, Erase/Missing BLM Spells. Dunno really what i want first, one thing im sure of is that i really have to do some farming <.<;;

Tho id rather get erase thru BCNM40 since i got 160coins and about the Zenith Mittens im not sure if "Magic Attack +5" is better than "Elemental Magic Skill +15". Ill have to ask around a bit.

Finally hit 75! Now were just gonna get a buffer and Spiritfire into 75, which is about 20k so well have a nice buffer XD. Other than that not much has happened.

Decided to download Tenjou Tenge after hearing so much about it and im damn glad i did. It kicks serious ass! Thou now im pissed because some spanish subgroup has subbed 11-14 while the english groups havent done more than to eps 10 >_<.

Got 74 yesterday and a nice buffer, 15k, blizzard4 looks sweet and sounds like RNG 2H. Spiritfire is making a good job as our new THF. Hopefully hell get a catchup PT this weekend and get up to 74 aswell or at least a bit closer ^^;.

The LS also got 2 trigger items! One for Genbu and one for Byakko, thou we wont be using the byakko one for a long time id guess because he is hard! Thou at least we got it, all we need now is Ro'Meave water sp we can pop the other Genbu trigger NM.

Ive also seen "Love Hina" and "Berserk", two good animes. Love Hina is a comedy about a kid that becomes a manager over a All Girl Dorm house, and this guy is clumsy so i bet you get the picture of what stuff could happend. Berserk is an action series about "Gatts" and "Band of the hawks" its really bloody and cool, i got hung up on Gatts "betrayal" to the band and how Griffith thought about it.

Was supposed to get Genbu trigger items on friday but after camping Zipcana most of us EU people gave up since it was 3-4 am. LS decided to hunt trigger items on weekdays and then do the fights during weekends. Thou i think its still to early for us to be fighting gods since we got some new members and we havent fought anything "hard" together for a really long time.

And on another note ive been lvling DRG with Lins THF, got it from 14 to 21 with some gimped equip and without food because of lack of space in my inventory D: Had a good time even tho Lin and Siya teased me all the time ; ;. Need to lvl WAR and THF now if i want to continue with it.

Ive seen the whole Kenshin series now and it was pretty good, tho it got a little bit worse after the Makoto and that other Hiten Mitsurugi style user. Then i saw some Love Hina on Internet TV and thought it was funny so i decided to download the whole series, got about 25% left on the download before i can watch it XD.

I havent updated the LJ for awhile so ill just write stuff that has happened since my last post.

Set PT:
Got lvl 73 and im currently using "Demon Helm" in Jeuno because of it cool looks. Thundaga 3 works wonders on the Golems in Tu'lia, i MB for about 1300 and thats almost as much dmg as when i was dual MBing. Sadly Yangou, our thf, has to leave because of family issues so we are currently looking for someone that could replace him, were looking for a DRK or a THF thats 73 and got Tu'lia access, we play around 6-8PM GMT until we get tired, wich is around 4 hours. If your interested send a tell to either me (chronostrife) or apocalypse. And uhm we play at Ragnarok ^^;

Dynamis:
Did Dynamis - Jeuno, completed with BLM Boots dropped that Bluetonberry won, what ive read he/she is getting tired of playing as BLM so ill be a bit angry if he/she stops after getting the boots since someone that still plays as BLM would have more use of it.

Dynamis - Bastok, was supposed to be a "drop run" tho most people didnt know about it, when time was almost up we decided to try and clear it since we only had one more trigger NM, so we went for it and killed it, then pulled the BOSS NM without any deaths! Except for the THF that had to draw the attention of the nearby statues. I died when the BOSS was almost dead and people were shouting "dont kill it" so i decided to HP to run back, tho when i enter Dynamis again i see that everything has popped again! So i decide to make a run for it, i ran from MH to the end of AH where i died from Bio3. Alot of AFs dropped, 2 MNK Boots (or was it pants?), 1 BST Jacket and something else i dont remember.

Hakutaku:
We went for Mr. Haku once again, but this time everything went really good! we killed it 5 times rather easy before i decided to call it a night. Now we need to get Apoc, Chrisi and Mcc a soup and redo this, by this time hopefully we could get help from the people that helped out last time or that most of us are 75~ and a bit blinged out.

DVDs:
I bought "Gundam Seed" and "Rurouni Kenshin".

Gundam was really weird because of the subtitles that changed names on the characters/mechas/places. But what so ever its a really good Mecha serie that everyone that likes mecha should at least see a couple of episodes. And i have to say that the music is unbelievably good and im really thinking of downloading or buying the OST.

Rurouni Kenshin, i saw 85 episodes before something happend to my old computer that made all my Anime disappear (was roughly 45 gig) and i had trouble finding the last 10 episodes except on DC but i never find any good host so the download speed suck to much for me to download it. At the moment im on the last DVD out of 12, this series could be one of the best ive ever seen and the first AOV is the best animated movie ive ever seen! The music here is also very good i got some favorite pieces that ill try and download.

Far Cry:
Got this game from a dear buddie and its really cool, i could play on the highest settings but i would get a bit of lagg when turning and moving the mouse, currently playing on medium as its perfect for my system, floats on very good and everything looks good. I havent been able to play so much so im still at a early stage of the game but so far so good, only bad thing is the sound. I can barely hear the voices from the main guy and that guy that speaks to you on the telephon thing and it doesnt help that my brothers friend blew up our speakers so the sound gets really bad when im raising the volume.

And thats about all i think <.

Went to bostineblabla today again to get Ethan a ring, NM popped after first cycle and Ethan got his ring. After this i idled for awhile until i saw Russta online and asked if he could guide me thru Uggalepih so i could get my last song for m20, all thats left now is the BCNM. He also helped me find a Coffer so now i got a map of Uggalepih.

Dynamis on friday has been pushed back to Sunday, dunno if this will work because some people got jobs on monday so i dunno, mostly depends on how long the runs will take i guess.

And if you would by any chance read this Russta thanks again ^^;.

We went to bostonioeblabla to get 2 Jelly rings, NM popped after the first clearance and we got 1 rings that cress won, we were supposed to go back after 2h to get one for ethan but people decided to do WS NMs. We did; Scythe, 1h Sword and katana ones. After that i went to bed because it was 3:40am and i needed some sleep <.<;.

If anyone is interested in skilling up give me a tell since i need to get staff up to 220-230 and at the moment its at 197 -_-;.

Dynamis Trip #2

We started of really good killing stuff really fast, even the first NM went really good. Then we linked and everyone got wiped out. After that we came to the AH and the SMN mobs, linked there too and dunno if we couldnt sleep em or what but most of the people died (not me ^^). After this there wasnt much time so we just pulled a couple of mobs for drops.

AF2 Drops:
NIN Pants x1 Sedyne won
RDM Boots x1 Cozma won

Didnt keep count how many i killed but it wasnt many as last time, tried to play with 1280x1024 and 512x512 lagged a bit but not much. Will play with 1024x768 as last time since it was minimum lag. I got 4 Bronze coins which i dont know if i should keep for upgrading staff wich i will probably never get to the 4th and last lvl becuse of the cost, so i might just sell em to Ellone. Got a Mythril Beast coin too which aint worth much.

LS supposed to do Jelly Ring hunt for PLDs for the upcoming Hakutaku run, dunno how this will go, probably the usual people will go <.< Starting to get boring in the LS we arent really doing anything much and im starting to think about leaving it, dunno yet depends mostly how things will continue.

Got lvl 72 yesterday (today 4am) <.<;; Put on my errant boots and pants and should getting the armor piece today after Cress finally pays me back the last 100k. Errant set should be really good as long as i dont get hate becuse i got alot of -VIT now. But then again it adds nice amount of -enmity too so i guess it should work out. Set PT starts 2h's earlier so in other words 45 min, ill eat some dinner then get on and idle till we start.

Oh and today is Swedens first game in Euro 2004! Sweden - Bulgaria lets hope for the best ^-^.

Hakutaku

LS had Hakutaku runs planned for yesterday. Not many people were gathered for the set time so we had to wait for about 1 hour, not many people logged on so we picked up some NAs and Roaddog. When we got to Den of Rencor Densetsu went ahead to find the place, it took its time but he found it so we headed out. Took awhile to get to the spot because the NAs kept getting aggroed and Farplaner died then some people were just slow.

When we were all done Roaddog popped Hakutaku, the fight was pretty hard and people died, then when haku had about 15% hp left the NA blm sat to close to the edge and aggroed a Doom Toad that killed almost everyone but thats not all! A million eye popped too so we had to fight 3 mobs with half of the alliance dead. But luckily we managed to kill it and Road got his hat.

Second attempt the NA RDM left so we were one man shorter, Apoc had a new tactic for the fight that didnt work out AND someone aggroed a toad AGAIN! This time we couldnt handle it so everyone died, after this we gave up and haded home. Well have to get Apoc another cluster -_-.

Dynamis

Dynamis went really well for being the first time. We started really good killed everything with an ease, but then we were gonna pull the East Ronfaure exit NM and linked like 10 orcs. We killed most of the orcs and started on the NM but around halfway he charmed all melees and tanks and sent them on a killing spree on us poor mages. So almost everyone got killed, after everyone got raised and rested up we went for the NM again and this time we raped him hard! XD

After that we continued down toward the AH and killed everything in our way, we killed another NM close to the North Sandoria exit and that one made the area Boss pop right on the mages, but he was easy but when we killed him 10 other orcs popped out off him but we took em out nicely. Afterwords everyone went after the ??? and got the cool title: Dynamis-Sandoria Interloper.

I ended up with 10 kills and 2 deaths and i got a "Griffon Hide" thats hopefully worth alot of cash :3
